A neat concept. It did induce a minor trance, though the introduction of the blue and yellow notes is rather jarring and requires me to focus out of trance to attempt to hit them properly, which isn't conducive toward the game's purpose. My advice is, in the full release- or maybe even a future demo- is to gradually introduce the notes. A good antepiece to this might be to have a string of notes (Up, Right, Down, Left), followed by a reminder of yellow and blue note keys, and then the same pattern with blue and yellow keys. (This pattern, coincidentally, follows a spiral pattern.) Overall, it's promising, and I hope to see what it looks like upon completion.
Twas lots of of fun! Just a shame the demo's short so far. I did have two issues in particular though.
1. The actual rhythm gameplay feels a bit..off? The background beat is nice, but it feels disjointed from the gameplay. Doesn't seem to sync up well either.
2. There's a weird crackle sound when I play with headphones on. This might just be poor quality of my headphones, but I figure I'm not the only one with kinda poopy headphones!!
Hey Shaddura, the weird crackle has to do with the engine (pico-8), I noticed it on my wireless headphones, but my other pair don't have it. As far as I know, there isn't a fix :S
With the out-of-sync comment, I'm not totally sure what to say as the notes are directly linked to the music and shouldn't be out of sync; However, I do agree that it feels a bit disjointed but it felt very empty without any background beat. Something for me to consider when I'm redoing that path and working on the others though.
It was a bit hard on mobile, but I did have enough space to press the buttons so it was enough to play this.
Anyway, this is definitely one of the games I'm looking forward to play in the future! I've recently discovered hypnosis and this definitely made me crave it more. Well, thank you for the great game!
I'm sorry the mobile experience isn't great, this is my first pico-8 project and I'm just a one-man team. I think focussing on getting the full release out and then addressing mobile gameplay is the best way to handle it. Open to other ideas though.

Thanks so much for the great feedback!
That was fantastic! Can't wait for more paths :D
